Culturally Audacious

We should cherish and champion the unique culture of the Black Church. We need not apologize for who we are or what we do. We are a historical corrective to the nationalistic, supremacist, and feckless so-called “Christianity” exemplified by many evangelicals in this country historically and today. In the same way we need not apologize for being Black, we need not apologize for being the Black Church. We must lean into this identity rather than run from it.

We can help you develop culturally audacious ministries within your church— ministries that are both effective and reflective of historic Black Christianity.

“Nothing is more powerful than the black church experience. A good choir and a good sermon in the black church, it's pretty hard not to be moved and be transported.” — Barack Obama
